666 Mark of The Beast 666

Welcome to 666 Mark of The Beast!

A website dedicated to the study of the End Times, the Rapture, the Tribulation, and the Prophecies in Revelation. We believe that Bible prophecy is to be understood in a literal way and the expressed view of this site is of a pre-millennial return of Christ and pre-tribulational Rapture of the Church. Therefore, this website is dedicated to bring fellow believers the latest news, stories, events and signs that brings us closer to the End Times.

The Number of the Beast is mentioned in the Book of Revelation of the Christian New Testament and has long been accepted to be 666 (or, in some cases, 616). In some interpretations of Christian eschatology the "Beast" is believed to refer to an entity controlled by or equated with the Antichrist. - Wikipedia.org

Episcopalians Contemplate Divided Future(Apostate Christianity)
Dallas Bishop James M. Stanton is among the leaders of seven Episcopal dioceses who have rejected the authority of the denomination’s incoming national leader, Nevada Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori, as the debate over the Bible and same-sex relationships tears at the church.

The move, prompted partly by Jefferts Schori’s support for gay relationships, falls just short of a complete break. But in October, Dallas area Episcopalians will meet to more fully consider their future in the denomination.

Faith and the Funny Pages (Christian Worldview/Issues)
Newspaper readers around the country this month opened their comics sections to see a character preaching the Gospel.

“The Bible tells us that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God,” the character says, shouting into a cellphone in a crowded place. “But the good news is that the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ His son!”

UNIFIL Accused of Providing Israeli Intelligence to Hizbullah (Israel - God’s Timepiece)
UNIFIL (UN Interim Force in Lebanon), the neutral force that has been stationed there since 1978, is tasked with maintaining peace between Israel and Hizbullah along the 70-mile Israeli-Lebanese border. However, as columnist and ZOA Philadelphia chapter President Lori Lowenthal Marcus writes in the Weekly Standard this week, it appears that UNIFIL took a clearly one-sided stand in favor of Hizbullah during the recent war in Lebanon.

UNIFIL “openly published daily real-time intelligence, of obvious usefulness to Hizbullah, on the location, equipment, and force structure of Israeli troops in Lebanon,” Marcus wrote, “even specifying the placement of IDF safety structures within hours of their construction.”

Most Americans Say Religion’s Influence on Nation is Falling (Where is the U.S. in Bible Prophecy?)
The majority of Americans say religion’s influence on the country is declining and most view this trend as a bad thing. The latest Pew Research survey measured the controversial relationship between religion and politics.

The survey by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press and the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life found 59 percent of Americans continue to say that religion’s influence on American life is decreasing and half say the decline is a bad thing. American opinion on religion’s influence on the government, however, is divided with 42 percent saying it is increasing and 45 percent saying it is falling. And most of those who said it was on the rise view it as a bad thing.

Is our church culture encouraging gluttony?(Christian Worldview/Issues)
Back in the decadent early 1980s, New Wave rocker Adam Ant mocked clean living in his maddeningly catchy song, “Goody Two Shoes.”

“Don’t drink, don’t smoke, what do ya do?” Ant taunted.

A new Purdue University study may hold the answer to Ant’s question.

If they don’t drink and don’t smoke, what do they do?

Eat, apparently.

“America is becoming known as a nation of gluttony and obesity, and churches are a feeding ground for this problem,” says Ken Ferraro, a Purdue sociology professor who studied more than 2,500 adults over a span of eight years looking at the correlation between their religious behavior and their body mass index.
